Reservation Policy

   A valid credit credit card is required at time of booking to secure the appointment time whether booking online or by phone. Your Credit Card is not charged unless you cancel less than 48 hours or no show your appointment.  

When appointments are scheduled, you will receive  a confirmation  via email. Please note, As a courtesy, an EMAIL reminder will be sent 72 hours in advance of your appointment.   You may also choose to OPT in for text message reminders when your appointments which will be sent 24 hours prior to your appointment.


Text message are not sent unless you have chosen to OPT in to this service on your Schedulicity account. These reminders are a courtesy only; and it is still the client’s responsibility to keep track of their upcoming appointment


 Although we anticipate reminders will go out, there may be various reasons reminder emails and/or text may not be made, including technical difficulties with the reminder service 

Cancellation Policy

 We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

48 hours advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 48 hours advance notice you will be charged $39 to the credit card on file. If no credit card is on file or if it has expired or declines payment for any reason, you will be required to pay the fee before we an schedule any future appointments

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged 100% of the value for their “missed” appointment.  If no credit card is on file or declines you will be invoiced through Square for the missed appointment and invoice must be paid before the any other appointments will be scheduled in the future.
A Gift Certificate or Allure Skincare Studio Prepaid service/voucher can not be redeemed unless services are rendered therefore will not be taken in lieu of missed service.  Credit Card on file will charged and the Gift Certificate or Allure Skincare Studio Prepaid service/voucher will still be honored for a future date.

Studio Policies

 Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy applies to ALL appointments, this includes prepaid services as well as Groupon, Living Social, Amazon Local , Our Hometown Deal or any other online voucher.


Minor/Children
Due to safety and liability regulations.  Children are not permitted in the treatments room unless they are the one receiving the service.  If under the age of 18 a parental consent form must be fill out by parent/guardian at time of service. Parent/Guardian MUST remain on site during the minor service.

Gratuities/Tipping

Gratuities are entirely at your discretion and are not included in the price of  services, packages, pre paid services or gift cards.  The industry standard in the Spa Industry is 20% to 30% 


Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash.
Please  mentioned at time of booking that you'll be using a gift certificate.
Gift certificates must be presented at your appointment.

A gift Certificate that was purchased for a specific service maybe converted to a dollar amount and use for another service.
Gift Certificates can only be used on full priced services and are not applicable on monthly specials, or to purchase Special Deal offers.
Dollar amount gift certificates and online vouchers do not include taxes and gratuity.
Gift Certificates are for services only and may not be used to purchase products.


Allure Skincare Studio Special Deal Offers and Prepaid Promotions

Special Deal Offers and Prepaid Promotions are non refundable and are not redeemable for cash.
Special Deal Offers and Prepaid Service must be used for the actual service purchased and may not be used to purchase new special offers or prepaid services or discounted services.  They may be transferred to another guest or dollar value maybe used towards another full price service. 


Product Returns

No refunds on products; however, if you are not happy with your product you may return it within 7 days with this proof of receipt to receive full credit toward another product.

FAQs

Before you arrive
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your facial to fill out a health form and so we can discuss your skin care goals. Should you arrive late, I will make every possible effort to accommodate you during the remaining time of your scheduled appointment.

What can I expect during a facial treatment?
Most facials consist of a   skin analysis, double cleanse, steam, exfoliation, facial mask, and hydration. Depending on the facial and your skincare history, the exfoliation performed will vary. You may customize your facial further with "add-ons" service for a additional fee if desired. 

Will my skin be red or irritated after my facial?
Slight redness is normal after a facial.  You maybe be more flushed if the service you receive includes an advanced manual exfoliation such as Microderm, Dermafile or enzyme exfolations.   Certain skin types, including those who tend to be more sensitive, may be prone to experiencing more redness post treatment. 

How long must I waited to have a facial after Botox or Fillers.
I request that for facial be booked at least 2 weeks after Botox and a full 30 days for other injectables and fillers.

Can I wear makeup after my facial?
Ideally we would love you to go home and relax and enjoy your natural glow for as long as you can. Having said that,  please if at all possible wait at least 30 minutes to an hour to allow your pores and blood flow to normalize. 

I am getting married or have a big event, when should I plan on getting a facial?
For brides I suggest starting regular facial treatments about 6 months before the wedding. The best thing to do is book your facial about 14 days before any special event so that your skin will have had time to recover and look its best.

What if I have allergies or am on medication?
 Always make me aware of any and all allergies and medications as this determines what products I will use on you during the facial. If you are using an Keratolytic medications ( Retin-A, Differin, Accutane,  or any other medications or skincare products that cause skin exfoliation), please let me know prior to starting the facial. 

We can not wax unless you have been off these products for at least 10 days. 

What do I need to avoid after my facial?
No tanning or sun exposure for  48 hours after.  SPF of 30 or higher is recommended
No exfoliation or masks at home for about 48 hours after.
Do not go to the gym or workout immediately after a facial. It's best to wait 24 hours.
Do not apply any Retinols, Retin-A, topical medications to the face for 48-72 hours.
Do not peel, rub or scratch your skin at any time, whatsoever.  This WILL cause damage and compromise your results as well as possibly cause severe scarring
No steam saunas 24 to 48 hours after

My certificate or voucher is expiring can I still use it?
Yes, you may schedule your appointment even if the voucher or certificate is expiring or expired with the following conditions
If you place an appointment on my calendar on before the expiration date (the actual date of services itself may the past the expiration date) you may use it without penalty. 
However if you try to schedule or move your original appointment  and your voucher or certificate has already expired the voucher may only be used for the dollar value of the certificate.

What is your Inclement Weather Policy?

Allure Skincare Studio follows both Keller ISD and Carroll ISD inclement weather closings. If either of these to school districts close I closed as well.  Your safety is of utmost importance to me.  If there is snow fall, slush or ice falling and the schools have not closed and you feel uneasy about driving then please do not.  I will waive the cancellation fee.  However is the roads are just wet and not slick or treacherous my normal cancellation applies.
